Criminals killed a rural doctor in Darbhanga. After the murder, the criminals threw the dead body on the banks of river Jivach. The incident took place in Trimuhani of Baheri police station area. Local people raised an alarm in the area after seeing his dead body while going to the toilet on the banks of river Jeevach in Kopi Musahari. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, the local people informed the police of both Baheri and Bahera police stations about the incident. The police reached the spot and remained embroiled in a border dispute for some time. Later, the police of Bahedi police station sent the body to DMCH for post-mortem and started investigating the case.
Wound marks are visible on the dead body
Born as rural doctor Kailash Thakur (33). Looking at the dead body it appears that he was beaten to death by murderers. Kailash’s house was in Durgichak village of Baheri police station area, about two kilometers away from the incident site. Elder brother Rajendra Yadav and younger uncle Ram Pukar Yadav told that someone had murdered him somewhere else and dumped his body at this isolated place. His bike was left lying on top of the dead body. So that this incident is seen as an accident. The mobile phone of the dead youth was also found lying nearby. Marks of strangulation and beating with an iron rod were visible on the body. Whereas, his tongue was sticking out.
People blocked the road in protest
Bahedi police station in-charge Suman Kumar said that prima facie it appears to be murder as the tongue of the body was stuck out. There is a possibility of murder by strangulation. The investigation is being done according to the call details of the deceased’s mobile. On the basis of post mortem report and call details, the killer can be reached soon. Angered by the incident, the villagers blocked the main road. Angry people started demanding the arrest of the murderer. After this, the police pacified the people. Deceased Kailash was the fifth among three brothers and three sisters. He has two daughters, one 15 years old and the other 12 years old and a nine year old son. After the incident, Kailash’s mother Shubhakala Devi, wife Jayamala Devi and children are in bad condition and crying.
